Tanzanite and Diamond Halo Ring in 14 Kt Rose Gold
This ring was made for me by one of the best metalsmiths I know in NY, who still carves in wax and has worked for some of the top designers around the world (his name is Vasken at Goldmaster Jewelry). This ring is a real masterpiece. It weighs about 3 grams and this piece is cast in recycled 14 kt rose gold.
The center bezel holds a 6mm one carat tanzanite, reat treated - this is a super saturated well cut and near blue gem, very close to sapphire at a fraction of the price in comparison. The outer rim of the bezel is studded with little 1 pointer diamonds and finished with an antique millgrain design and hand engraving down the sides. The diamonds are G/H VS and the total diamond weight is .2 carats.
If you look at the side view, this ring is a perfect engagement ring because it is high enough to slide over a wedding band. But you can also stack it over any other ring you like, or no ring at all.
This particular ring is a size 6. Sizing is free. I can go about 2 sizes in each direction.
