14 K Yellow Gold Oval Sunflower Necklace with Chrome Tourmaline
This antique inspired halo design was spontaneously named a "sunflower" ring by two separate people, so it stuck. The little petals are scalloped but come to a point, and the hand applied millgrain adds to the flower look. This model is cast in 14 K yellow gold and was developed in CAD.
This pendant takes a 7x5mm oval center stone - the outer petals are hand engraved (prior to casting). The center stone I picked is a 1 carat chrome tourmaline, no treatment, nice cutting, rich coloring. The flower measures 11x14mm and 20mm with the bail.
At checkout, you may also include a matching 14K yellow gold cable chain with a lobster clasp.
P.S. In case you are wondering why each of my engravings is different, it's because I let my engraver, Alex, do whatever he likes. He's been engraving for over 50 years, and honestly, he knows what's best. He knows which tools and angles will work and if I tell him Victorian, Deco, or Art Nouveau he sticks to that period style.
